Schloss Ebenzweier
Reconstruction of a historic castle

In 2016, large parts of the historic castle Schloss Ebenzweier were destroyed in a firestorm. The building, housing a boarding school, was further damaged by the subsequent fire fighting. Now the historical parts of the castle are under reconstruction and a total of 240 boarding places are being restored.

The newly erected residential tower will be the central lounge for the students. It takes up the many different levels of the existing building and combines them into a three-dimensional living landscape with galleries, grandstands, balconies, cozy corners and play areas.
